The RuuviTag Shim is an in-house design that increases airflow between the Ruuvi Tag Pro and the mounting surface, allowing for faster and more accurate temperature measurements. Without the shim, the Ruuvi Tag is affected by the temperature of the mounting surface and will take longer to measure an accurate temperature of the ambient air.
